Safe Software is following industry best practice by removing Embedded Browser authentication from FME 2026.2. Any workspace using it to connect to SharePoint, ArcGIS, Azure, or other OAuth services will fail when credentials are next refreshed unless it’s updated.
As there is no central fix, Authentication must be reviewed and updated workspace by workspace, ideally by the people who built them.
This half-day workshop helps you identify affected workspaces and, with expert support, start fixing them.

Do I need training credits to book?
Yes. Each place costs one Miso training credit. If you do not currently hold credits, you can purchase them when booking.
Can we run this as a private session for our whole team?
Yes. Private sessions can be scheduled to suit your organisation. Get in touch to discuss options.
What should I bring?
FME and any workspaces that connect to SharePoint, ArcGIS, Azure, or other OAuth platforms. In order to start identifying and fixing issues during the session, you’ll need FME 2025.2 or later. We’ll be running the training through Microsoft Teams.
Is this session recorded?
This is a live, interactive session and is not recorded. We recommend attending in full.
Will other attendees see my workspaces or data?
No. We understand that many FME workspaces contain sensitive data or business logic. For organisations with stricter requirements, we offer private sessions so your team can work in a fully controlled environment.
